Devils-Jets game postponed because of winter storm

The match-up has been rescheduled for March 28 as Winter Storm Stella hammers the north-east of the United States.

Tuesday's game between the Winnipeg Jets and New Jersey Devils has been postponed because of the winter storm hitting the east coast of the United States.

The NHL confirmed the match-up had been rescheduled for March 28 as Winter Storm Stella hammered the north-east amid a blizzard warning calling for more than a foot of snow.

The Devils confirmed tickets for Tuesday's clash, which had been scheduled to take place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, will remain valid for the same seat locations on the new date.

The Jets fell to the Nashville Predators on Monday and departed for New Jersey after the game, arriving safely on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the Devils canceled their morning skate on Tuesday but had prepared on Monday to play the game as scheduled.
