With the recent trend of resting marquee players becoming more and more prevalent in the NBA, the MVP candidate wants to distant himself from what some would call an issue.

Contending teams like the Warriors, Spurs and Cavaliers have all opted to rest their stars at one time or another this season, but Harden isn't interested.

"Mike knows not to come at me with that," the Rockets star told Fox 26's Mark Berman. "I'm a hooper and I just want to hoop. I'll rest when I'm done."

Harden hasn't missed a game all year, and is sitting second for minutes played this season.

With 12 games left on the Rockets schedule except the Beard to be feature in all of them as we head towards the post-season.
