The win snapped Portland's six-game win streak which had vaulted them into the eighth seed in the West.

Towns had 34 points and 12 rebounds, while Wiggins poured in 29 of his own. Ricky Rubio played third wheel to perfection with 11 points, 16 assists and seven rebounds on the night.

Damian Lillard had a chance to win the game, missing a mid-range jumper at the buzzer.

Lillard struggled with his shot all night, hitting just 7-for-21 from the field and just 3-for-11 from the three-point line. He finished with 25 points.

Portland now sit just a 1.5 games ahead of Denver for the final playoff spot.
